Prolugue:

Altough Fei and Quin have finally settled to be best friends,they still have feelings for each other.But as Tze Shan once said,what has happened,has already happened.We can't treat it as if nothing happened.Fei still has to keep his promise to Chin Chin. Quin has decided to put everything behind her and start anew.So she took up an advance degree psycology course in US.She still maintained contact with Tze Shan.(Remember the bar scene?They have become good friends since,giving each other encouragement.) Actually,Quin has another reason to leave.She found out that she was pregnant!Even though she knew that her child was fathered by Fei,she decided against telling him about it.She didn't want to hurt Chin Chin. As much as she wanted Fei by her side,she knew in her heart that Chin Chin needed Fei more than she does.So she decided to leave them alone.Her brother,Kit,was upset to her in such a miserable state but Quin made him swore to secrecy never to tell Fei about her pregnancy. Quin finally left HK for her 3 years course.She get to know Jessie and Dayong over there.It turns out that Jessie's mom has some health problems,so Jessie decided to go back to take care of her mom.She still kept her job as a reporter,while Dayong is still a cop in HK.The couple managed to get together when Dayong took long leaves to accompany her.Often he has fly from HK to US and vice versa for his job and family. Quin become fast friends with them when she first met them.During these 3 years,she managed to bring up her child,Tung Tung.There have been tough times but luckily Jessie and her family were there to help.Being a single parent was hard on Quin but she somehow managed. 3 years finally passed.Quin has completed her course and she was making plans to return to HK.She still has a half year contract with the police department and a 2 year contract with her mentor's company.She had to go back to fulfill the contract.Dayong happens to be going back to report to a new department.(Just happens to be Fei's group.)
