Chapter 6 - KIDNAPPING??
SETTING: In the girls house...
Rain[ran out from the bedroom excitingly...]: She did it. [Seeing Deci on
the floor, she kneeled down and held onto her shoulders...] Suet, you really
did it!
Deci[looking at her confusingly]:....[The person got back on the floor and
took off his mask. It was Hang.]
Hang: If it weren't for this bulletproof vest, I was a dead man.
[Deci just realized she fell into the biggest joke of the millennium. She
isn't only mad but furious now. She turned around, saw Jaye getting up.
Jaye can sense her discomfort right away. ]
Jaye(We've pulled the wrong prank...):....[only stared at Deci]
Deci[she turned away to the backyard and saw Joe coming toward.]:....[She
repetatively shook her head after glancing at everyone. She forcefully
released herself from Rain's hands and got back on her toes. Deci was now so
lost, she doesn't know how to react. She's fond that nothing happened to
them but she was even more upset that they tricked her using her weakeness in
this way. She didn't know how to deal with the situation.]
Joe[walked up to Deci]: I... [Deci stormed out of the house. Joe noticed
flows of tears in her eyes as she gave him her last glance.] Suet! [They
all ran after her but she was too quick. She droved off in her car. Joe
continued to run on his bear feet after her speedy car. The rest gave up.]
Rain: What just happened?
Jaye: I knew we should have never agreed to this. It's my fault..[looking
at Rain] why did I even let you...Do you realize the mental damages we
caused in her?
Hang: If I knew it was this serious, I would have never played the villain.
[Joe moodlessly walks back toward the house after he completely lost Deci.]
SETTING: The next day...
[The guys walked over to the girls house]
Joe: I hope she's back. I want to apologize before she rejects what we had,
us.
Pit: What do you mean? You two are together?
Edan: Gor, let's not go there.
Pit: No, we have to go there. Do you realize what the consequences will be?
Am I not already a good example? [Joe ignored him because he's only
concerned for Deci's satefy at the moment.]
[Ding Dong.. The door opens...]
Jaye: Suet! [Jaye and Rain was hoping for it to be Deci at the door.]
Rain: It's you guys. [depressingly walks back inside.]
Hang: She's still not back. This isn't good.
SETTING: Later in the evening...
[Joe spent the day in his room, staring out from his window to await for
Deci's return. He wants to be the first one to know.]
Edan: Joe, do you want anything to eat? You haven't left that spot since
this morning.
Joe: No, it's ok. You don't have to worry about me. Take care of yourself,
you still have a flight to catch with...
Edan: Sorry about Ah Gor. You know how he is, his incident.
Joe: I know, I understand.
Edan: He has his reasons and he may be right. Take it into consideration.
Joe: Did I not tell you. Deci is Suet, Siu Suet. [Edan now fully
understands. He knows how Joe felt for Siu Suet in their early teen years
and it never changed even after they severed.]
Hang[jumps in from the hallway.]: She is? All three of them are from the
ophanage? [Joe nodded] Then by any chance, one of them may be...(Lan Mui?)
Edan: May be who? Oh...Lan Mui.
Hang: I didn't say anything.
Edan[smiles]: You meant to, I just lent you my mouth.
[Joe's eyes suddenly wided, seeing Deci's car making her way to park. Joe
immediately ran out.]
Hang: Hey what's the occasion?
Edan: She's back?! [The two ran after Joe.]
SETTING: Outside, on the block...
[Joe ran over to Deci's car. Oddly, he noticed that the car has not been
finished parking by the obvious crooked way it is stationed. He went over to
the drivers seat side. The door wasn't locked. Looking down, he saw the car
keys. Edan and Hang cought up with him.]
Joe: Why are her keys on the floor? Why is the car parked like this? Where
is she? [he ran up to ring their door bell. Joe hears fast speeds of
footsteps, Rain and Jaye excitingly opened the door.]
Rain[disappointed]: Please, this isn't funny. Tell me this important
Joe: Did Suet come back?
Jaye: We again thought it was her at the door. [noticed her car and points
at it] Why? [runs down the steps, over to the car.] Her car, where is she?
Joe: I saw her driving in from my room but when I reached down here, she's
gone and everything was left like this.
Edan: Obviously, something happened to her unexpectedly to cause this result.
Hang: Don't mean to bring it up but can someone may have snatched her?
Joe: That quick? It took me less then 4 minutes to come down here.
Edan: That person must be faster than you then.
Rain: Wait, wait...why would anyone want her?
Jaye: With such speed, it has to be one of us. But who and why?
Joe(my god!): What do they want from her? [panicking]
Hang: Calm down, calm down. We still need you to think.
Joe: I know, call 911.
Hang: You're not thinking.
Edan: He's getting paranoid
Rain[raises her volume a little]: Call 911? What are we going to tell the
cops? That, that a killer is kidnapped? [everyone is left in silence]
SETTING: In Ice's apt...
Ice[by the door]: Yuen, are you ready? We have to leave soon.
Ching: Don't forgot the passports. Make sure you call me when you arrive to
HK.
Ice: Ok, I will MOTHER.
Ching[stares with her head side titled]: I wouldn't have to repeat myself
today if you had left last week.
Ice: I told you. I left something.
Ching: Well make sure you don't leave it again.
Ice: I won't. [lightly taps her pocket.] Yuen, I'm going to leave without
you if you don't come out now.
Yuen[running out with his luggage]: Ok. I'm ready.
Ching: You little rascal, what were you doing in there?
Yuen[one hand hid behind his back, he swings it over to show Ice]: Bing Jah,
you forgot Ba Ba's picture again. (Lucky I found it.)
Ching: What else didn't you forget? Your kid is even slicker then you.
Yuen: Yeah, Bing Jah practically can't leave without me by her side. [grabs
one of her leg]
Ice[bent down to pinch his chubby cheeks]: Lang Jai, ganging up on me with
your Ching Yee? Who's the mother here? Come on, airplanes don't wait for
people. [They left the apt, waving bye to Ching.]
SETTING: Inside the airplane, all waiting upon departure...
Ice: Are you sure you don't want the inside seat? Better views!
Yuen: No, I'm satisfied here. (I want Bing Jah to get a better sleep.)
[takes out his gameboy and started playing.] Bing Jah, you don't have to
watch me. I will accompany myself.
Ice: Are you sure? [starts to yarn]
Yuen: Yes, I have my gameboy, so many silly faces of people sleeping, I
think I can cope with it.
Ice: Ok, you said so. [puts on her sunglasses and covers herself...she took
out the picture of Dylan. She couldn't get her eyes off of it until she feel
asleep. Seeing this, Yuen finally took away the picture and tucked her in.]
Yuen[turned off his gameboy]: Mother still loves father so much. [He
started to stare at his father's face.] If only you didn't leave us father.
[took Ice's left hand and held on it tightly.]
Sum[on the seat right behind Yuen]: Ba Ba, why didn't Dai Ba Ba fly with us?
Edan: He is busy. He will join us in HK later. Do you want to sleep now?
Sum: No, not yet.
[Ice was leaning her body over on the window side, her arm was underneath her
head as her pillow. Her hand reached a bit over to the seat of Edan. She
was holding a fist, seems to be holding something. Without realizing, her
fist softly released causing what she was holding to fall on the ground.
Edan saw, so he picked it up. It was a ring, nothing expense but was
priceless to Ice.]
Edan[looked at the inside of the ring](Bo Yau and Bing?!)[knocks on the
seat]: Miss, Miss?! You dropped something.
Yuen[popped up from his seat]: [recoqnizes] The ring? Mister, you can give
it to me. Don't wake my mother.
Edan: Sure. [hands him the ring.] (Very nice boy)
SETTING: Unknown...a dark room...
[Someone opens the door to the room...leaking in a stream of light from the
outside. She walks in with a bucket of water in her hand. Walking up to
Deci, she splashes the water at her. Waking Deci, she was mesmerized being
tied up and all. The woman finally turned on the lights.]
Deci[wincing her eyes]: Wan Seung. Why do you bring me here?
Seung: Like everyone of us who has orders, so do I. But I defintely
wouldn't fail like you have.
Deci: This was boss's order?
Seung: Thought I can fix you up a bit. Trust me you need it.
Deci(Why is she doing this? I don't want to become the coldblooded killer
like she already is.): Please let me go.
Seung: Let you go? You should be delighted that I'm even spending such time
on useless trash like you.
Deci: Yes, I'm useless but not coldblooded
Seung: Don't give me that junk. Some sisters you have there don't you?
Deci: You could have been our sisters too.
Seung[laughs wickedly]: Become your sister? You three never treated me as
one. Forget it. It seems like those two have turned their backs on you this
time.
Deci: No they never have and never will.
Seung: They wanted you to be like them, lead you to first base so there's no
turning back until you reach home run.
Deci[tilts her head down]: I didn't even know why I pulled that trigger.
Seung[laughs again]: Maybe it was God. Ha Ha.
Deci: What if it was me? That I wanted to kill, not only for them but for
me.
Seung: You do have the potentials. You're getting there.
Tin Tin: Was it really God? Will Sueng succeed in persuaving or even
forcing Deci becoming someone she really isn't? What is Deci going to turn
into? Will Ice and Edan ever meet face to face? Who is this Dylan? Where is
he now? What will happened to Joe due to Deci's disappearance? Who does
Hang have in mind? Stay tune...
