Preview of Last Chapter:  Quin and Nam finally got things cleared up.  At
the day of the ball, Lun finally appears.  His appoach to Quin is worrying
everyone especially May.  Lun gave Quin a bad feeling with his appearance.  
Her nightmares somehow connects to Lun.  Chin Chin finally experience what
Quin had experience 3 years ago by Fei's concern of Quin being in trouble!


Chapter 15

AT QUIN'S APT....
Man:  She(refering to Quin) has been in her room for a while, not making a
peep!  I'm worried.

May:  I think she needs time alone to think.  It's probably hard for her to
accept want has happened tonight.  Her mind is probably full of thoughts
about that guy.  I don't get it.  How did he find her here in HK?

Man:  Who is that guy anyway?

May [a didn't want to say it look]:  It's a long time ago.  I don't want to
bring it up again.

Man:  But you're the only one who seems to know.  I want to help too, please
tell me.

May:  Ok, I don't want Quin to hear it though.  She has forgotten already.

Man:  What do you mean by forgotten?

May:  She lost her memory when she was in a car accident with ah Lun, 5 years
ago in England.    

Man:  Really?  Like amnesia?

May:  Yes.  But no, not exactly like amnesia.  She only forgotten the most
recent things, like her relationship with Lun.   No one she knows later on
knows about it.   [telling the story] I was friends with Quin since freshman
year.   I don't want to bring up my problems but do you remember that Quin
keeps on asking me about what happened to me.  Well, she knew, just forgotten
too.  They have been together for 2 years after Quin met Lun during her
junior year at college.   Since Quin wanted to go for a higher degree, she
stayed in England with Lun.  I also stayed cause I had the same major as
Quin, psychology.  During the 4 years they have been together, Quin, told me
one day that, she felt that Lun and her are aiming for different directions.  
Meaning she found out they don't match with their different personalities.  
She has been following what Lun whats her to do for a long time and Quin is
not that kind of person.  I saw that too.  They really had problems.  The
night before Quin's 24th b-day, she couldn't take it anymore.  She told Lun
how she felt and she  wanted to break up.  Lun on the other hand, was a big
man, and couldn't take it.  She thought that, he knew and would understand.  
Frighteningly on Quin's b-day. we all thought that Lun was handling it
alright and just wanted to greet Quin.   But....
-------------------------------FlashBack---------------------------------
AT THE BEACH WHERE THE PARTY WAS HELD.....

Everyone:......Happy Birthday to Quin.... [everyone help Quin blows off the
candles and claps]

May:  Make a wish!  [Quin crossed her hands and bowed her head]

Quin:  Ok.

Susan : so what did you wish for?

Quin : you know that i can't say or else it won't come true

Susan : probably wished for a new prince charming, huh
[everyone laughs]

Diana:  alright enough talk, cut the cake!

Everyone:  Yeah

May:  Where's the knife, I swear I packed in.

Amy:  Ahhhhh, look behind you Quin [points]

Lun [immediately wrapped his arm with his hand holding the knife around
Quin's neck]:  Why, why?  I loved you so much.

Quin:  What are you doing?  I thought you understood.

May:  Let her go, first.  Don't hurt her.  Put down the knife and we can talk.

Everyone else:  Yeah, put it down..

Lun [crying]:  No, Quin, how could you do this to me.  How can you still be
so happy when you just broke up with me?  You know how much that hurts me?

Quin:  I understand but we were not meant to be.  You shouldn't be like this
too.  I'm sure you can find someone else better than me.

Lun [shaking his head]:  No, I only loved you and will never love anyone else.

Quin:  Why are you so stubborn?  You know problems have created between us.  
We can't stay like this.

Lun: What is it, I'll change.  I'll do anything for you.  [drags Quin out of
everyone elses site]  [May followed and hided behind a bush]

Quin:  Let me go.  [Lun released her]

Lun [holding the knife facing Quin]:  You know I love you.  Why why? [then
faced the knife at his rist]

Quin:  Lun don't, you are very unstable now.  [walks closer] You need help.  
Let me help you. [quickly put her hand on the knife.  They struggled for a
period and suddenly the knife went down the front of Lun's right hand]  I'm
sorry.  [May quickly ran up]  [Lun put his hand on top of the wound and
yelled in pain]

May:  Com'on let's go.  He's going to hurt you, if you stay longer.   [Quin
ran off with May while looking at Lun]

May:  I thought that was the end.  But I was wrong.  

Man:  What?  What happened next?
[Quin came out of her room]  [It was a signal to stop]

May:  Quin are you ok?

Quin:  Don't worry, I'm ok [walks back to her room with a glass of water.]
[as Quin closed the door behind her, she began to cry and sat on the floor]

AT QUIN'S OFFICE......

Secretary : Ms. Mo, May has come to see you

Quin : send her in.
 [May opened the door]

May : hi, how are you feeling today?  

Quin : more confused then ever

May : don't worry things will be back to normal soon
 [someone knocks on the door]

Quin : come in

Secretary : Ms. Mo, someone sent these flowers for you
 [secretary gives the flowers to Quin]

May : so, who's chasing after you?

Quin : i don't know [read's the card to herself]
   "to my dearest Quin,
       ever since i set my eye's on you in England, i knew that you were
meant to be mine. but why did you have to leave me? why. but that doesn't
matter now, i will do anything to make you remember me and to get you back!  
You will see me very soon.


May : who's it from? what does it say?

Quin : i don't know who it's from [gives the card to May]
 [may reads it]

Quin : i don't get it, i've never been to England before.

May : it's probably from Nam, you who how much he wants to be with you. I
think he lost his mind, he was suppose to write New York. Better think twice
about him!

AT THE HEADQUARTER, during lunch time.....
[May was still worried about Quin and started to daydream all day]

Chi San:  May? May? May?

May:  Huh?  Oh, Gong sir.

Chi San:  What's wrong?

May:  I'm just worried about Quin.  [Fei overheard the name Quin]

Fei:  Why, did her asthma get worse?

May[shaking her head]:  No, it's Fong Hoi Lun.  He's back and bound to do
something to Quin.  He's obsessed with Quin.  Yesterday, he clearly told me
that he would not give up, no matter what.  And today, he sent flowers to
Quin.  [gives the card to Chi San and then pass it to Fei]

Chi San:  I don't get it.  What does he have to do with Quin?

May:  He was Quin's old bf.

Fei:  Why doesn't Kwan recognized him at all?

May:  She lost her memory at a car accident with Lun, 7 years ago.  Luckily
she forgotten almost everything that happened with her and Lun.   That's why
I didn't want Quin to stay.  If she remembers, she is going to have a mental
break down.

Fei [surprised]:  I never could have dreamed such a thing could have
happened to Quin.

Chi San:  It's not only you that can go nuts, you know!

Fei [ignored Chi San] Why is that Lun so afraid by Quin?

May:  He almost killed her, itsn't that scary enough.  He almost made Quin
go crazy.  But  she was back to normal after the accident because she has
forgotten Lun.   But also because of that car accident she went blind for a
few years.  I'm sure you guys remember that.

Fei:  What does this Lun want from Quin?

May:  Are you listening??  Quin herself, what do you think?! Have Quin every
told you guys about the story of this guy in school who asked her out and
wrote a poem for her but turned out to be a joke?

Chi San and Fei: Yeah, she did.

May:  Well, that's Lun but she doesn't remember how he looks like before.
That's how far her memory goes with him.  

Fei:  I'm worried, now that I know what this Lun wants.

May:  I'm going to double check on her every minute and pick her up after
work.

Fei: Let me tag along.  I want to see how she is anyway.

May:  Ok.

AT QUIN'S OFFICE......

Secretary:  Hi, Ms. Mo has no more appointments, she's inside.  But she
seems to be in another world very often today.

May:  Thanks for your concern.  
[Suddenly......... a lady along the hall, came screaming...] Lady:  Ms. mo's
room, Ms. Mo's room!  Ahhhh!!

[May and Fei ran in......they saw a man lying on the floor]  

Fei [looking at Quin]:  Kwan, what happened?  [checking out the dead body of
the man]
[Quin was holding the window sheet by the window to get an outside view,
purposely looking across the street]

May [hold Quin's arm]:  Are you ok?  What happened in here?  [Quin, walking
on her way out, stuff a folded piece of paper into May's hand, gave her eye
contact and ran out of the room]  Quin?  

Fei: Kwan, where are you going?  [Fei ran after Quin, but she seemed to be
out of site]
[Fei chased downstairs, till the front of the building,  May slowly came
after him]

Fei:  May?  What happened?  Why did Kwan leave like that?  Without saying a
word?!  
[May was staring at her fist, with the paper inside.  While hearing Fei, she
quickly put her hand into her pocket]  May:  I don't know.

AT THE HEADQUATER.....

Fei [on the phone]:  Hello?!  Ahh, recorder again!  Why isn't she answering?
Where can she be?  I called everyone she knows already and no one knows.

Chi San:  Fei, calm down.  

May [was frozen the whole time, thinking alot]

Chi San:  May?  Why are you like this?  Even since you came back from Quin's
office, you have been so quiet?

May:  Oh, nothing.  I'm just worried.

Chi San:  She has to show up, otherwise she is the highly suspect.  

Fei [quickly answered]:  No, that's impossible.  

Chi San:  As her friend, the people who cares much about her, we all now she
is innocent.  
But as the police, we have to straighten out our feelings.  We can not add
any personal feelings but to find the truth.

Fei:  I understand.

Gigi [comes in]:  Law Sir said we are having a meeting in 5 minutes.

IN THE DISCUSSION ROOM.....

Nam:  This is very upsetting to see that this case is involved with a person
we are all close to.  I'm sure I don't have to tell you guys but to not mix
personal feelings into this case.  

Everyone:  Yes, Sir.

Nam:  We have to show that we'll do everything according to law otherwise,
they are going to pass this case to another group.  I'm sure we all want to
help Quin, so let's do this right!  

Everyone:  Yes, Sir.

Nam:  Is Quin anywhere found?

Chi San:  No, we can't find her.

Nam [feeling bad]:  Let's get back.
[Gigi passes the folders to everyone]

Gigi:  The dead is called Ben To.  32 years old.  He works at the same
building and department as Ms. Mo.
Korean:  I have asked, he has no relations with Ms. Mo.  
Nam:  What did the examiners say?
Fei:  He was killed early in the morning, around 8 am., from being cut by
the throat and then bleeded to death.  But weirdly, the front of his right
Gigi [Opens the folder with the pictures of the dead's wounded areas.]:  
Hey, that scar, that scar on the hand.  Looks so fimilar.
May:  Yes, almost exactly the one on Fong Hoi Lun.

Chi San:  Why did the killer do that?
May [already had an answer in her mind]  [everyone was in silence]
Fei [continued]:  According to the deepness of the cut, it is deeper from
left to right.  That proves that the killer used his/her left hand.  Highly
chance of being a lefty.
Gigi:  That means it's unhighly for Ms. Mo to do it.  She's not a lefty.
David:  I don't really mean it but what if she purposely used her left hand
to do it?
Korean:  You must be nuts.  How can you even say that.

Chi San:  Korean, don't act like this.  He is right in pointing out all
possiblities.
Nam [relieved and smiles]:  Yes, but all I can say is that, it can not be
Quin.
May:  Yes, if what we have is true then it definitely can not be Quin.  
[looked at each other]

Tin and Marianne:  Quin seems so trouble, does she even know what's
happening?  Most importantly where is Quin now?  Why did she just ran off?  
And what did that piece of paper she gave May say?  May definitely is keeping
something away from the guys, what is it?  Why is Nam and May so positive
that the killer can't be Quin?   We'll be back.....  



Tin and Marianne:  Now, we have reach the end of this chapter.  This case has
so far ended.  But the beginning of Chi San and May has started.   Though
this will be a short relationship,    which instead cause them to be closer
friends afterwards.  May will be quick hard to get because she has been
objecting guys for a period.  Another thing. Nam is still targeting Quin.  
Watch how Fei would react!!!
