Nam: Nice to meet you. I am Law Duck Nam. Hope everything will work out
sucessfully with you and the rest. But you are an hourand a half early, the
others don’t come in until 8:30.
May: I’m use to being early.
Nam: Then I guess I will show you to your desk.
They both walked to her desk
Nam: You will be sitting her from now on. This room is Gong Chi San and this
rooms is Tsui Fei, you will be taking orders from them. I will introduce you
to the other members of this team to you later. Now, I guess you can sit and
wait.
May: Law Sir, I would like to see the files of the case you are working on
now.
Nam: Glad to see you’re so eager to work. Here they are.
May sat from 7:10 till 8:00 and read all the files to the case on the female
corpus. Then she went out side to get a drink of water, on the way, Hoi ran
into her. He dropped an shinny object but immediately picked it back up and
said sorry. He seems to be in a hurry to get to his desk. And began searching
for something.

Minutes later, Chi San arrived and step in and saw May
Chi San: I am Gong Chi San and you most be new here?
May: Gong Sir, call me May.
Chi San: Welcome you to this group, hope everything will work out fine.
May only smiled back, so Chi San didn’t say anything and went into his room

Few minutes later, the rest all showed up. Nam came in and officially
introduced everyone to May. She played cool and smiled to everyone and went
back to her desk
Nam: Ok, everyone half an hour later come into the discussion room.
Everyone else: Yes Sir!

They all returned to their postitions. 1/2 an hour later they all met in the
room. They started to talk about the case...
Nam: The dead female’s name is Wong Siu Ying(played by Angie Cheung), english
name Candy. She is 28 year-old and has both parents and a younger brother.
But she lives on her own in a little apartment not too bad. She makes a
descent living working at a nightclub "mo tang". The important thing is to
find out why she went to the beach so early in the morning!
Korean speaking to gigi : If you were a "gay lui" (hooker) what would you be
doing on the beach at 6 in the morning?
Gigi hits him with the folder she is holding.
Chi San : ok time to get serious.
Fei came in and started to pass around new files.
Fei: The examiners just passed the files here. It stated that Candy actually
died from an overdose of sleeping pills. It was tested that she had already
digusted the sleeping pill at between 6. Her skin started to torn being in
the water for hours. But they still found out that her arms have scars made
from knifes that were made a long time ago.
Korean: So that’s mean if she is really suicidal, she’s been cutting herself
many times. This time she ate the sleeping pills at 5 something at the beach,
and then slepted to her death. That means she was there before 6. So why did
she bother to throw herself into the water when the sleeping pill would work?
And besides at the scene of the crime, nothing that looks like a sleeping
pill bottle was found.

Nam: May, what do you think?
May: I think now we should get info from the people that knows her.
Korean: Everyone know’s that. And how do you know about the case so fast?
Nam: She came early and read all the files already, does that answer your
question?!
That shut Korean up immediately.
May: Let me finish first. If a person is suicidal, the people around may or
may not have noticed it. We should know more on her background, if she looks
like the type of people who would be suicidal. If I’m not wrong, I recall
seeing a picture of a cross neckless Candy is wearing. I know people with
these crosses, I’ve researched on it before. It’s mostly likely she is a
member of some kind of religion’s church.

They all shook their heads in a sense of agreeing.
May: I know someone who knows about these things more than I. But I don’t
know where she is.
Gigi: Do you guys think Ms. Mo will know.
May: Ms. Mo?
Gigi: Yes, she is the pyschiatist for the police department.
Nam: Hoi , what about you? Do you have anything to say?
Hoi: Maybe we should follow up on her bf’s since the letter mentioned that
she just broke up with her bf.
Korean: But she is a hooker, who knows how many men has close contacts with
her.
Gigi: That is "Die Hoi Low Tim" trying to find something out of nowhere!
Nam: But we cannot let go of any chances.
Nam: Ok, someone will contact Ms. Mo later, now we have more clue to follow.
These are all over guesses, we need real evidence to support what we are
saying. So lets go out and find me answers, now! Chi San...

Chi San: Hoi, Korean, you will go to the nightclub and see if you can find
anything out about bf’s or anything. You two(Sue & David), go back to the
scene of the crime and see if you can find any witnesses, Gigi and Fei will
follow on the Churches, and May and I will go and see if we can find anything
from her parents.
Nam : ok, dismiss
Hoi: Ahh, can I not go to the nightclub, I’m afraid my gf will find out and
break up with me.
Chi San paused for a moment and said: Ok, Gigi will follow Korean and Hoi,
you follow Fei to on Churches, ok!
Hoi: Thanks, head (ah tow)!
Chi San and May arrived at the house of Candy. May rang the door bell and
Candy’s mom opened the door. They showed their badges.
Chi San: We are the police and we came to get info about your daughter.
Mrs. Wong: Please come in. You want anything to drink.
Chi San: Thanks, we will just ask a few questions. Have you notices these
days that your daughter is suicidal?
Mrs. Wong: No, never. With her attitude, she will never do such at thing.
While Chi San were doing the questioning, May walked around the house and
then walked into Candy’s room. Suddenly May’s eyes started to gloom. It turns
out that her whole rooms has tons of objects about God. Crosses everywhere.
Posters of, How to praise the Lord. Many Bibles. Then she opened Candy’s
drawer and picked up her diary. She then also saw a few handy knifes. She had
the idea of what it was used for. Under one of the knifes she found a key.
Then she look around to see where this key will fit. When she turned to the
closet and opened it, she saw 5 little bottles containing red liquids inside.
There was a 6 bottle but contained nothing inside but a drop of stain which
the bottle was opened. She immediately ran out and called: Gong Sir! Come in
and see.
Chi San: May, What’s happening?
Chi San was in shockness also, in seeing what a bedroom this is!
May: I found her diary and I guess we have to take these bottles back for
examination to see if they are real human blood.
Chi San: Ok, start packing. Let me finish asking first. Do you know if your
daughter has any bf’s?
Mrs. Wong: You know what’s her occupation. Different men come and go. I don’t
even know myself.
Chi San: Why do you think she will never suicide?
Mrs. Wong: She believes she is the helper of God She keeps telling me she has
a duty but I don’t know what it is. She told me she will never die unless God
takes her.
Chi San and May where in strange looks.
Chi San talking to Mrs. Wong: Thanks for your help, as soon as we find
anything, we will contact you, bye!
They got what they wanted and left.
They headed back to the station. On the way in Chi San’s car....
Chi San: Haven’t handle such a case for a while.
May: I believe you and I right now are accusing that this has to do with evil
churches(tay Kow),right?
Chi San: Yes, I agree with you. But how do you know so much about these
things.
May: I was once a psychiatist myself, I understand these things.
Chi San: No wonder, you talk like one. Then what made you change you mind in
becoming a cop?
May interrupted: I don’t want to talk about it.
They stayed silence for the whole car ride.

Hours later they all met back at the discussion room...
Nam: So what did you guys find?
Chi San: After May and I went to Candy’s house. We found out she is really a
member of some kind of evil church.
May: The position of her things in her house is really weird. It even looks
like a church. She has alot of God related things in her house. We found her
diary.
Get ready to be creeped out. Just like her mother said, she believes she is
sent from God. And her duty is to collect blood from men she believes is
sinful. She stated every man she slept with, she has their blood in the
bottle. The thing is, she never mentioned any bf’s.
Korean: Damn, can’t tell a pretty girl like her has such a scary and wicked
mind.
Gigi: From the club we went to, we talked to her Mommy. She told us that, on
the first day she was so eager to do this job. She wasn’t force and was
actually wanted to do this job. Everyone that knows her say she is kinda of a
strange person. They all know she believe is God but don’t know what kind.
Sue(another female cop): We didn’t find any witnesses that saw her but we
found...
Hoi interrupted: What did you find?
Sue: We found a knife that has Candy’s fingerprints and alittle blood stain
on it which was proven that’s it’s not Candy’s blood.
May: The examiners has proven that the blood in the 6th bottle and the blood
on the knife are exactly the same.
Chi San: So we are definite that her death isn’t due to suicide so the blood
stain may be the killer.
Hoi: Then what about the letter?
May: If what we say so far make sense than that letter could have been writen
by the killer to mislead us.
Hoi: How can you prove that.
May: I said If!!! We are all making assumptions here.
Fei: We couldn’t find anything about the churches.
Nam: For more evidence we need the help of Ms. Mo. Fei, why don’t you call
Ms. Mo over and ask her about our unsolve questions. (Nam knew who Ms. Mo
was, remember he came back to HK mainly for her but didn’t know about the
long gone relationship Fei had with Quin)
Fei: Yes, Sir.

The next day.... Quin got the message and came to the station.
She walked in.... On the way.. she walked along the glass windows and starred
at Fei like she use to. Fei moved his head, so Quin immediately turned her
head straight and walked in. As she stepped in.... she starred and open her
eyes widely...
Fei saw her and wanted to say Hi but he felt weird with her reaction.
May saw Quin and smiled: It’s really you, Mo Siu Kwan!
Fei turned to look at May. He was suprised they knew each other.
Gigi: I didn’t know you knew Ms. Mo.
Quin walked in and gave her a big huge. They both were very happy to see each
other and almost cried.
Quin looked at May: May Ming, what happened to you all these years?
May and Quin saw that there were other people around them so they both knew
May didn’t want to talk under these conditions.
Quin: Let’s finish our business first and we’ll talk after work, ok!
They went in to Chi San’s room and discussed...
May: I thought of you and you really showed up... she is the person I’m
talking about who knows. Quin, remember in college second term, we minored in
this subject. You did get a good grade for this class.
Quin: Yes, and I read the files you sent me. After what I read, I concluded
that this so called evil religion’s purposed is to follow orders of God. This
is a sole believe, so there is no specific church for this kind of religion.
This so called helper of God is said to also have sinned a lot, to help wash
away her sins, she was told to kill other people that are sinful. I believed
that she was so eager to be a hooker was that at a night club it consisted of
many sinful people. This way she can find them quicker cause who ever ask for
her, he is consider sinful in her judgement.
Fei: If what Ah Kwan is saying is true, then there should be 5 men died. How
come the bodies still isn’t found yet.
May: I remember reading in her diary saying that, it’s hard to kill someone
but it’s even harder to deal with the dead body afterward so I don’t deal
with it.
Chi San: I wonder what she meant by that.
Quin: When a person decides to kill and doesn’t deal with the body, there is
a high chance that someone may be helping her deal with the bodies. Sinces
they believe in God so much, they might want to buried the bodies in a way to
praised the lord. This is only my guess. You would have to think that way.
May: I agree with you, that is a possiblity.
Chi San: Ok, that’s Ms. Mo for helping us. We’ll ask for you again if we have
more questions.
Quin: Gong Sir, your welcome. I’ll be leaving now.
May walking out together with Quin: Why don’t we go out for dinner, I’m off
now too.
Quin: Ok, but I have to pick up Sum Oiy first.
May: Sum Oiy?
Quin: Yes, you’ll see.
Fei heard their convesation and became very curious on who this Sum Oiy is

In front of Sum Oiy’s school....
Quin: Sum Oiy came out. She is my daughter.
May: When did you get married? I never heard of it from anyone.
Quin: It’s a long story.
Sum Oiy running out: Mommy!
Quin: Call Auntie May.
Sum Oiy: Auntie May.
May pat her head and smiled: She is very cute.
Quin: Yeah, everyone say so.
And they went into a resturant....
Quin: Sum Oiy eat slowly.
May: I alway thought you would be a good mother and her you are as a good
mother.
Quin: Don’t talk about me, what about you? After college, you stopped talking
to me. I heard you had a bf from other people. And then became a cop?
May: If you’re my friend don’t ask me. I will tell you when i feel the time
is right.
Quin: Sure, I will respect you.
May: Thanks, but who is Sum Oiy’s father?
Quin: Same thing, I’ll tell you when I feel it’s time.
They smiled and both cheers each other
Quin: So, is this case a tough one?
May: Well, can’t say tough but an interesting one.
Quin: I’m curious at knowing who this Candy is. I do believe there are such
people. Like recently I counselled a man with some connections on this case.
About god and stuff. Do you have Candy’s picture?
May: Oh, yes, here it is.
Quin looked at the picture for a minute.
May: What, what is it?
Quin: I swear I saw her before. Oh I remember, I was lining up to by coffee
cake and i saw her. Oh wait, I saw her with Fung Sir(Hoi) together in the
streets. Fung Sir seemed very annoyed at her. I starred at her because of
that special crossed she was wearing, it’s very shinny which caught me eye.
May: Are you sure what you’re saying is positive?
Quin: I’m sure, I won’t kid about this.
May: Ok, now what you have to do is to keep this secret. If it really has to
do with our team members, I don’t want it all spread out.
Quin: Of course, I won’t.
May is started to get suspicious at Hoi.

Next day at the station.... the phone rang....
Korean: Oh my god, this time is really big news.  SIX bodies where found on
the same beach that Candy died from.
