Preview of Last Chapter: Quin actually spent the week in "Yun Oiy Hospital" to fix her arm. But oddly, encounters Stanley's conversation. She knows what's going on now. She planned to uncover Stanley's darkest side. Unexpectedly, her plan back fired, causing her to be shot....


Chapter 27


IN QUIN'S APT....
Fei: Kwan, I promise you, I really promise you. [shaking Quin] But you have to promise me to be alright. Kwan...

May: Fei, Quin fainted already. [Fei immediately lifted Quin up and ran.... On the other side, Nam and the team ran their way up. They all meet each other...]

Nam [saw Quin]: We came too late.

Everyone else: Ms. Mo!

Nam[Facing Fei]: Go, run. [Fei ran off] May, are you ok? [Noticed bruises on May] What happened? [hold on to her hands]

May: [signs] He's inside. I shot him.

Nam: Gigi, Sue, bring May to the hospital. [May, Gigi and Sue goes into the elevator. The rest of the team enters the apt., finding Stanley unconsciously on the floor...]



IN THE HOSPITAL.... [Everyone is waiting unpatiently outside the ER...May comes around from the corner...]
May [in bandages]: Quin's still inside?

Nam: May, what did the doctor say for you?

May: I'm ok. It's nothing serious. [Saw how unset Fei was.] Fei, don't worry, Quin is a very strong person, in every way. I know she will be fine.

Fei: I know. I also know that she will not leave us. [smiled] [Korean comes along..]

Korean: Guys, I'm so mad. That pervert died on the way to the hostipal.

Gigi: What? [Everyone got even more unset but all Fei concentrated was at the doors of the ER.]


ANOTHER 4 HOURS PASSED.... [the light goes off and the doctor comes out]
Doctor: Who are Mo Siu Kwan's family members.

Fei: We are all her friends. How is she doctor?

Doctor: The good news is that lucky, the bullet wasn't near her heart. She is now at a stable condition but hasn't wake up yet. [signs]

May: Doctor, why, what's wrong? What's the bad news?

Doctor: The bad news is that we are uncertain on when she will wake up?

Fei: What?

Doctor: She has lost great amount of blood and is in pretty weak shape. There is a great chance that she...

Fei: She will not live?

Doctor: No, sorry to say but on the looks of it, she will be in a coma.

Nam: How long will the coma be?

Doctor: It's unknown. It's always different for every person. One may wake up after 1 day, another may take years.

Fei [Tears start to come down]: This can't happened to her. It's all my
fault. It was supposed to be me in the hostipal.

Chi San: Don't worry! She'll be ok!

Everyone else: Don't worry Fei, Ms. Mo is going to wake up.


IN THE PATIENT ROOM....
Fei [Tears are rolling down as a smile slowly shows, holding on the Quin's hand...]: Kwan, I know you are going to be ok. I just know it. There's this force inside telling me that you wouldn't leave us for the world. I know you are very strong and I will also act strongly by your side until you awake. I will do as you hope and I know you will fulfill my wish. [Helped Quin fixed her blanket..]


AT THE HEADQUARTERS....
Gigi: It's so unfair. Now what are we going to do?

Nam: Stay calm.

Everyone: Yes! [May comes in]

May: You guys forgot there's still me?

Chi San: Yes, you were at the scene.

Nam: May, are you ready for words?

May: I want to get this guy even if he's dead. [They head to the questioning room.]


BACK TO THE HOSPITAL.... [Chin Chin enters the room]
Fei [turned over and saw Chin Chin]: You came. I'm sure Kwan will appreciate your concern for her.

Chin Chin [Actually more concern over Fei.]: How is she?

Fei: Not in very good shape. She may have to sleep away her days here.

Chin Chin [quickly ran up and grabbed Quin other hand]: Quin, you have to wake up. Everyone is waiting for you.

Fei [sudden pulls Chin Chin's hands away from Quin's hand.]: No. Don't touch her.

Chin Chin: What? What happened?

Fei [raised his voice]: She did surgery on that hand not too long ago. I don't want anything to go worst.

Chin Chin: I'm sorry.

Fei: No, I'm sorry. You didn't know. I can't blame you. [He turns back to Quin.]

[Chin Chin sourly watches Fei worry about Quin.]

Chin Chin: Fei, I believe she needs you more. I'm not going to interfer anymore.

Fei: What do you mean by that?

Chin Chin: You know what I mean.

Fei: Chin Chin, I'm very flustered now. I don't want to bring up or cause anymore problems.

Chin Chin: It's just so very obvious. I can not help but to notice. I'm sure everyone notices this too.

Fei: It's not time to play this game again. We'll talk about it when Kwan wakes up.

Chin Chin: No, when might that be? 10 years, 20 years?

Fei: How can you say that? You really don't want her to wake up do you?

Chin Chin: YES, do you know how much I despise her?! When I thought I finally won your heart, she suddenly comes up with beauty saves the hero. I have no more chips to play. I want to forfeit, do you understand?

Fei [Still holding Quin's hand]: Chin Chin, you know that no matter what you say, I will not let you leave me again.

Chin Chin: Why do you have to make it so hard. Why can't you just let me go. I can not watch my most loved care more about another woman. I was greetful for the many times you have chosen me over her. But I can't feel anything besides of your pity.

Fei: Chin Chin, I don't pity you. I told you before, I don't. I made a promise that I will not let go. Do you apprehend that, do you?

Chin Chin: If you really do love me, you wouldn't worry so much over this woman again and again. I give up, I'm wordless. [leaves the room]

Fei [looks at Quin]: I promised her, I won't leave her. You told me that I owe her too much. You told me to keep this promise and therefore I have kept it. For the many times I have thought and wanted to unchain my words, you were there to remind me. In this world, only you understand, understand me.



BACK AT THE QUESTIONING ROOM...[Everyone came out..]
Chi San: Besides that, there's alot of other things I don't understand.

Nam: Yes, me too.

Chi San: Let's go to the discussion room now.

May: Let's all go. I want to hear everyone's point of view over this issue.

Nam: May, I think you need some rest.

May: No, I'm as anxious as all of you to clear things out.

Gigi: Ah Tou, just let her go. She wouldn't rest until...

Nam: Ok, let's go. [Fei shows up]

Chi San: Great, Ah Fei. Let's go.


IN THE DISCUSSION ROOM.....[Everyone is sitting down]
Nam: How is Quin now?

Fei: Still the same.

May: She's still hasn't wake up? [Fei nods]

Chi San: Ok, let's get back.

Nam: I don't understand. Quin called me when we were on the way to her apt. She told me that she was at a park near her building. Then why did Fei say she was in trouble in her apt.?

Fei: Wait, we have to revise back. I wouldn't have went if it wasn't for that anonymous caller.

Korean: First an anonymous letter and now an anonymous caller. Should there be a connection?

Chi San: Let's worry about that later. So, what was Quin doing at the park? How would that anonymous caller know if Quin is at home in trouble?

Nam: It was Quin who told me that Stanley was up there. So, she knew all along?

Gigi: This is getting very imbroglio.

May: When I got home, I can already feel that someone is inside. I really wonder why Stanley is there. How did he go in?

Fei: Unless it was Quin. She wouldn't have knew that Stanley is up there if she haven't let him in the apt.

Nam: True.

Chi San: May, what about that call. Do you have any idea who he called?

May: No, I don't. He sounded very sure and wicked. If he really is some kind of rapist, I'm sure he had in mind to do something to Quin.

Nam: According to what May said before, the person on the other line is most likely Stanley's assistant. He said something like, he doesn't need his help this time. Then probably this isn't his first time.

Sue: Disgusting.

Korean: Really a "See Mun By Lui".

Fei: Ok, another question. Stanley only repeatly beat you but didn't do anything beyond that.

Korean: Yeah, that's weird. It's not like May isn't attractive or anything.

May: I'm thinking that maybe I wasn't his target. He's only aiming for Quin, I could sense that.

Gigi: Wait, there's another point. Where was Ms. Mo? Meaning her sudden disappearance.

Fei: I'll answer that. She was in "Yun Oiy Hospital".

May: Oh, to do surgery on her hand?

Fei: Yes.

Nam: That was her surprise? Ok, more like causing an heart attack for us.

May: Tell me about it. Anyway...

Nam: So the question is still unsolve for Quin's part.

Chi San: The only thing we can do now is to wait. Wait till Quin wakes up. She's our only hope.

Korean: Wait till when? What if she doesn't...

May: No, she will wake up, she will! [furiously looking at Korean. The guys all used a folder to slap Korean..]

Korean: Ok, yes she will, she will!

Chi San: For now all we can do is search for more clues to help this case.

Fei: Yes, but again, who is that anonymous caller? What is his motive to all this? [continuously asking himself over and over...]

Nam: Fei, go over the case from top to bottom. There must be something we have missed.

Fei: Ok.

Nam: I guess we can end here. Dismiss. [Everyone starts to leave.] May, where are you going now? I'll give you a lift.

May: I'm heading to the hospital.

Nam: Ok, let me drive you there. I'll go to my room first.

May: Let me go get something too. [Goes to her desk...surprisingly Vincent shows up.]

Vincent: May, can I have a word with you?

May: It's you. What can we talk about? [Vincent looked around the room, hinting that he wants to be alone with May.]

Fei: I can step out if you want me too. [Looks at them.]

May: No, Fei, it's ok. There won't be anything secretive when wording with him anyway.

Vincent: No, I just feel bad for what has happened. I want to know the condition of Quin.

May: Why are you so concern all of a sudden?

Vincent: May, she is my friend too.

May: Most likely she'll be in a coma.

Vincent: You are going to the hospital right? You don't mind if I came along?

May [signs]: Ok. Wait for me here. [goes off]

Vincent [left alone with Fei in the room...he went over to chat..]: Hi, can I ask you something?

Fei: What?

Vincent[takes out something]: Do you know if this belongs to anyone? [shows Fei, it was the box the holds "Gum Mui Peen"]

Fei: Hey, that's my box. I gave it to Kwan. Where did you find it?

Vincent: Oh, I saw it somewhere outside.

Fei: Why would Kwan leave it here? [Still trying to figure out.] [Vincent turned around and smiled....]

Vincent[quietly mumbled]: Quin!


******Vincent finally finds out that it was Quin the other day in the hospital. What is he going to do, what does he have in mind? When will Quin wake up? What was all that about with Chin Chin? Does she really meant wanting to give up or just testing Fei? Stay tune....
