Chapter 3
Everyone is at the beach except for Ah hoi
Chi San takes out his recorder : 6 bodies are found at the beach where the
firstfemale body was found. All 6 bodies are male and they seem to carry the
same cross and have bruises on their wrist. (stops the recorder). Fei, have
you found anything?
Fei : The doctor made an estimated the death of all 6 bodies. Some died like
a month ago, and there was one that just died two days ago.
Chi San : This is a tough case!
Fei : I agree with you.
Korean walking to them : Stupid Ah hoi, he disappears when something this big
happened.
May overhearing them : Hey, what happened to him anyway?
Chi San: He called in saying that he'll be here late
Fei : In the morning don’t talk about people, once talking about them, here
they come(yut tou mo gong yun, yut gong chow dou!)
Ah hoi : Sorry gong sir, I had to do something.
May looks at him suspiciously
Ah hoi : so did you find anything new?
Korean : no, besides 6 dead bodies, there's no other evidence
Ah hoi in a weird looking manner: really?
Korean : why would I lie to you
Hoi’s reaction became really shocked and May still continues to suspect him.
The team are back at the conference room.
Chi San : We can now say that Candy's case and the 6 dead bodies are
connected. Both cases have similar things that we can see. For example the
cuts on the wrists and the special cross.
Korean : But the funny thing is that the wrist of one of the dead body
wasn't cut.
Chi San : Fei went to get the DNA's of the bodies and see if they match the
ones in the bottles.
Fei comes in with folders...
Fei : Big news
Chi San : What ?
Fei : Within the six bottles, five of the DNA's matched the five bottles full
of blood. The strange thing is that the sixth man's body didn't match the
bottle that contained only a few drops of blood. It is also proven that the
first 5 bodies all has turned rotten and contains dirt on them. The one that
died earlier, shows on sign of being buried before.
Chi San : that explains why one of the guys didn't have any scars on his arm.
That means that the blood on the knife belongs to someone else. Let's hear
you opinions (referring to the team).
Fei: The thing I don’t understand is that, at first we couldn’t find any
bodies that dealt with this case and all of a sudden all the bodies we’re
looking for shows up all together. All five died a month ago and just this
one dies 2 days ago. Why would the killer all of a sudden dug out all the
bodies and lay them back where Candy was killed.
May: I believe we are dealing with mind here. We have to fight mind with
mind. Think like the killer, what is his intention in doing this? Another
way to praise the God again?
Gigi: This case is getting stranger by the moment.
Korean: Don’t worry Gigi, I wouldn’t use you to praise the lord!
Gigi slaps Korean(laughing): Stop playing around. I’m already scared now.
Korean became serious...
Korean : I think that we should re-question her parents and co-workers again.
Chi San : why?
Korean : To see if they can remember anything else about her boyfriend.
Ah hoi drops his pen, May pics it up for him and keeps an eye on him.
Fei : Up to now, we still don't know who he is.
Gigi : And we should ask her brother too. I don't remember questioning him.
Chi San : We never did. Korean, Gigi, I'll put you in charge of that.
Gigi and Korean : Yes sir.
Chi San : Ah hoi?!
Ah hoi wasn't paying attention, Gigi taps him on the shoulder
Ah hoi : huh ?
Chi San : Are you okay today ?
Ah hoi : Nothing . . . nothing's wrong
Chi San : Do you have any opinions about the case ?
Ah hoi : No, I have nothing to say
Nam: Ok, since this is what we have so far, dismiss! Keep on working, this
case is dragging to long.
They all lefted..
Chi San went back into his room. Then he was checking e-mail. He saw Ah
Man’s e-mail and he was so happy. Man stated that she will come back and
visit this weekend...
(another scene) lots of guys are at a construction site working. Gigi
and Korean walks toward a guy.
Construction worker : can I help you?
Korean and Gigi takes their badge out : cops
Construction worker : oh, what can I do for you?
Korean : is there a wong wing lung working here?
Construction worker (screaming) : wong wing lung, these two cops are looking
for you
Ah lung walks over to them : what's the matter?
Korean : we're here to talk about your sister's death
Ah lung takes his shirt off (wearing a tank top underneath) and wipes his
sweat off his face. Both gigi and korean notices the similar cross he is
wearing, it is the same one that candy has
Ah lung : what is there to talk about now. The person isn't even here
Gigi : do you know anything about her boyfriend? What is his name? Where does
he work?
Ah lung with a nasty attitude : I don't know anything
Korean : then what do you know
Ah lung : all I know is that he is ashamed of her
Korean : how do you know that?
Ah lung : my sister and I have a close relationship. She tells me everything.
Every now and then she would tell me that he hates her job and is ashame of
going out with her in public, fearing that someone would see them.
Gigi : if she tells you everything, then how come you don't know his name?
Ah lung : I told you, I don't know
Korean and Gigi walks away, after a couple of blocks, Korean calls Chi San
Chi San : hello ?
Korean : san gor, it's me
Chi San : what did you find out?
Korean : he seems to be hiding something from us.
Chi San : I want you and Gigi to follow him
Korean : yes sir
During lunch time everyone went to lunch except....
May saw it was only Hoi and her in the room. May stepped up to Hoi...
May: Fung Sir, umm, I want to ask you how to write these two words. “Break
up” (fun sau) in chinese. I’m an a ABC(american born chinese)(juk sing), so
I never actually learned how to read and write chinese.
Hoi: Why these two words?
May: Oh, I’m planning to write a letter to break up with my bf.
Hoi: I don’t understand, these two words are very simple.
May: Please?!
Hoi: Ok
May handed him a piece of paper. Later she noticed that there is a scar on
his risk. She starrs at it for a while until he finishes writing.
Hoi: Here you go!
May: Thank you!
May immediately went off...
Chi San was actually sitting in his office watching everything. He didn’t
understand what that was all about so he followed May out.
May gathered the letter that Candy was holding and now this piece of paper
with Hoi’s handwriting on it and went to the room to ask the specialist for
answers.
May: Excuss me, can you please help me? I need to find out if these two
paper are written by the same person.
Chi San opens the door and rushed in....
Chi San: May, what are you doing?
May turns around and sees chi san . . .
