Chapter 4

Chi San:  Why are you suspecting Hoi?  Do you have any evidence?
May:  When they finish testing we would have an answer.
May handed the evidence to the specialist.  
Chi San pulled May out.
Chi San:  We are a team, you are not supposed to work alone and now you
are accusing our team member?    Do you know what you're doing?  I know you
have a point for doing this.  But I truely hope you won’t work on your own
again.  
May:   What are you talking about, I am a police, I have the responsiblity to
find out the truth.
Chi San:  What made you start to suspect Hoi?
May:  If this concerns our own team members, I don't want to let it out(Dah
Chow Ging She).  Besides, to prove what I’m saying, I would have to find
enough evidence to show you.  I won't accuse anyone for no reason(san on bak
joe ga).  I have been studying his actions and behaviors for a while.  He can
tell he seems very concern about this case.  Of course there are stronger
evidence to
made me suspect him.  On the first day I came here, he accidently bump
into me and I saw that he dropped something.  To think back now, it really
looks like the same cross Candy has.   Quin once told me the she saw Hoi
and Candy together in streets.
Chi San:  Ms. Mo?
May:   This already proves that he has been hiding from us that he knows
Candy.   Do you remember, his behavior in the discussion room.  He seems so
worry and he's the only one who kept on bring up the letter, where no one
else did.  And on the day the 6 bodies where found, when he heard that
there where 6 bodies, his face expression started to change.  He's really
hiding something.  As soon as the results come, you can decide to do.  I hope
I’m wrong but if I’m not, I’m sure you know what you’re suppose to do.
Fei shows up and walk up to them and May went back into the room.
Fei:  What's going on?
Chi San:  Come in to my room first.
ChiSan explains what just happened to Fei...
Chi San:  Her personality is really like you in the past.
Fei:  You just said it’s the past, I’m different now.  Ok, do you think we
should tell Law Sir?
Chi San:  Yes, but right after the results come out.

Chi San:  i know that we have to tell him, but let's wait until we get the
results back. i don't want ah hoi to suspect anything
Fei : in the meantime, why don't i treat you to tea in the cafateria
Chi San : no thanks, i have to give this file to miss mo
Fei : why don't you tell Korean or Gigi to do it ?
Chi San : nah, i'll just give it to her myself
They both got up and leaves the room.  Chi San walks out the door first and
leaves the office. Fei stands at the door and has a sad expression on his
face while seeing Chi San leave.

Chi san arrives to Quin's office, he talks to the reception....
Chi San : Hi, I’m Gong Chi San, i'd like to talk to Miss Mo please
Reception : oh, hold on please (presses button on the phone) . . . hello,
miss mo, there's a gong sir waiting to see you . . . okay. you can go in now.
it's the first door down to your right.

   Chi San is a few doors away when he see's Ah Lung coming out of Quin's
office. Ah lung exits the other way so he didn’t see Chi San.  Chi San
continues to walk and knock's on Quin's door . .

Quin : come in.
   Chi San walks in
Quin : Gong sir, so do you have that much free time to visit me? ( mut nay
gum duck han lay tam oir)
Chi San : Im here to give you this file
Quin : thanks
Chi San : so, how's everything going?
Quin : it's coming along fine
Chi San : the man that just walked out of his office, isn't that Wong Wing
Lung ?
Quin : yes, do you know him?
Chi San : we're on this case involving his deceased sister. what did he come
up for anyway?
Quin :  You know,our job is to keep the privacy of our clients, sorry i can't
help you
Chi San : i see, so, did you eat lunch yet?
Quin : no
Chi San : i heard that this restaurant is really good, want to go?
Quin : sure, but it's your treat.
Chi San : why ?
Quin :  Cause your position is higher than mine.   You make more money! of
course it's your treat!
Chi San (laughing) : alright
   they walk out the door

Later at night. Ah lung is waiting at the gates of a building.  Hoi walks up
the block with his keys..

Ah Lung : are you Fung Tim Hoi ?
Ah Hoi : who are you ?
Ah Lung : I am siu ying's(Candy) brother
Ah Hoi : what do you want from me.
Ah Lung : i just have a few words to say to you .
Ah Hoi : speak, about what?
Ah Lung : right here is not good, follow me
   Ah Hoi and Ah Lung gets into Ah Lung's car and they drive off . . .
   half an hour passed and they arrive on the same beach where candy died.
Both of them are standing by the water
Ah Hoi : why did you bring me here?
Ah Lung stares at him angrily :  to get revenge . . .
